1. Necessary Browser Storage

SubShave local storage remembers your Analytics and Affiliate / Measurement choices, the notice version and the time you saved your choice. It is necessary for respecting those choices, has no automatic expiry set by the application, and remains until changed or cleared. If browser storage is unavailable, an explicit choice can be kept for the current page session only.

Supabase local storage supports administrator sign-in. It is used when an administrator signs in, not as a visitor analytics identifier. Session data persists until sign-out or browser removal, subject to Supabase session validity and token refresh.

subshave_test_mode

SubShave local storage disables measurement during explicitly enabled site testing. It remains until test mode is disabled or the storage is cleared. It does not identify visitors for analytics.

2. Optional Analytics

Analytics consent allows Google Analytics and Supabase page-view measurement. Google Analytics uses first-party cookies such as _ga and _ga_5SNK7Z23R5 to distinguish browsers and maintain measurement state. These are non-essential. Their expiry is controlled by Google’s configuration; this application does not set a custom cookie duration.

Supabase page-view records include the page path, referring website domain, device category, campaign parameters and a timestamp. When both purposes are accepted under the updated notice, SubShave uses session storage (subshave_measurement_session) to link visits and clicks within this tab. The random identifier expires after 30 minutes of inactivity or when the tab closes. It is not a count of people and is cleared when either purpose is withdrawn. Existing choices do not enable this new linking until you save a choice under the updated notice. Server-record retention is distinct from browser-cookie expiry; see the Privacy Policy.

3. Optional Affiliate Measurement

Affiliate / Measurement consent allows SubShave to record link clicks in Supabase, including the product, destination, page, placement, device category, referring domain and timestamp. This is separate from Analytics consent and remains unlinked when only affiliate measurement is allowed. When both purposes are accepted under the updated notice, the temporary session identifier described above is included.

Affiliate links still work when measurement is rejected. Their referral parameters remain in the destination URL. A seller or affiliate platform may use its own tracking after you follow a link; that site’s privacy notice and consent controls apply there.

4. Accept, Reject or Change Your Choice

Both optional categories are off until you choose. Accept All enables both; Reject All leaves both off. Manage lets you choose them individually. Reopen Cookie Settings here or in the footer at any time to save different preferences or reject non-essential measurement. You do not need to clear browser storage.

Withdrawing Analytics consent disables further Google Analytics and SubShave page-view measurement and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies from this site. Withdrawing Affiliate / Measurement consent stops SubShave’s future affiliate-click records. Withdrawal does not remove previously sent records or control cookies on other websites.

5. Essential Requests and Policy Updates

Rejecting measurement does not block requests needed for website content, administrator authentication or Google Fonts. Those providers receive technical connection information as explained in the Privacy Policy. We will update this page and its date when these practices change.
