ElevenLabs pricing depends on your plan and how many credits your work consumes. Start by testing a representative script, then include revisions and other products when estimating monthly usage.

ElevenLabs monthly plans

PlanRegular monthly priceMonthly credits
Free$010,000
Starter$630,000
Creator$22121,000
Pro$99600,000
Scale$2991.8 million; 3 seats
Business$9906 million; 10 seats

USD figures from ElevenLabs pricing, excluding taxes. Enterprise uses a custom quote. Creator's advertised first-month discount is temporary; use the regular price for a continuing budget.

Which plan fits your voice projects?

Free is useful for trying voices, pronunciation and the workflow. Starter offers a small paid allowance. Creator is worth comparing when regular projects exceed Starter, while Pro and the larger tiers make sense only when the volume or team capabilities are needed.

A higher tier does not remove the work of preparing scripts, checking pronunciation and choosing acceptable takes. Before upgrading, run a complete project and record credits consumed from the first test through the final export.

Credits are not a fixed number of finished minutes

Credit consumption depends on the model and product. A speech script, dubbing job and sound effect do not necessarily consume the same amount. The pricing page's estimates are useful planning figures, not a promise that every project produces that many finished minutes.

Use this formula: credits used by a representative completed project × similar projects per month. Allow for client changes and alternative takes.

For example, a hypothetical job that uses 8,000 credits across all attempts would require 48,000 credits for six similar jobs. That points beyond a 30,000-credit allowance, even if the final audio is short. Test again if you change models or production style.

Annual billing and credit rollover

The checked annual offer charges the equivalent of ten monthly payments for a year. Creator therefore totals $220 before tax under that structure. Compare the entire commitment with likely use rather than focusing only on the monthly equivalent.

Eligible paid subscription credits can roll for up to two months, with a maximum balance of three monthly allowances including the current month. Downgrading or cancelling can forfeit unused paid credits at the end of the cycle. Read the live policy before relying on stored capacity.

Commercial use and voice permissions

The official publishing policy says Free does not include commercial use. Paid plans include a commercial license subject to rights, product-specific terms and restrictions; Beta Services are excluded under the cited policy.

Buying a subscription does not give you permission to use someone else's voice, script or recording. Obtain the necessary rights and consent, and confirm the requirements for the particular product before using it in client work.

Do not assume upgrading later makes earlier free-plan output commercially licensed. Keep a record of when important assets were generated and which plan and terms applied.

Reduce wasted generations

  1. Proofread the script before sending it to generation.
  2. Test names, acronyms and technical vocabulary in a short passage.
  3. Agree on the voice and speaking style before recording a long script.
  4. Keep source text and final exports with the project.
  5. Track rejected takes as well as successful output.

For a team, assign an owner for billing and credit purchases. Define who can generate, clone voices and approve final audio so a shared allowance does not disappear into untracked experiments.

Script, microphone, audio waveforms and headphones show preparation, short testing and audio review.
Prepare the script, test a short sample and review the audio before generating a longer piece.

Comparing a marketplace offer

Check the selected plan, credit entitlement and account arrangement before comparing a seller offer with direct ElevenLabs access. Commercial rights and recovery control need separate confirmation; a low headline price does not settle either point.

Before paying, confirm the plan, paid period, account control, recovery access, region, renewal and support. A seller listing does not establish authorization from the original provider. Shared access, an organization invitation and a subscription in your own account are different products.

When to upgrade or cancel

Upgrade when useful production repeatedly reaches the allowance or when a specific team feature is required. Stay on a smaller plan when usage is occasional, and review annual billing after a stable pattern emerges.
